If you haven’t heard about UWoMEN yet then the Universal Women’s Network is a global platform and a private network that is purely committed to diversity, inclusion, belongings, and equity by raising the bar in order to help women advance in their respective community, workplaces, and networks.

And how can we forget BAO Laboratory when it comes to women-owned and women-led businesses. Though it is a matter of fact that the BAO Laboratory application for Certification for Universal Women-Owned™ Certified has been verified. BAO Life Brand Inc. as UNIVERSAL WOMEN-OWNED™ BUSINESS.

The certification was awarded to the BAO Laboratory on the basis of 51% ownership of a woman. While the business is managed by a female, principal executive or Controlled or operated by women in crucial business making decisions (dealing with the company’s finances, operations, personnel, or strategy).

We the leaders at UWoMEN believe that mentorship is the key to success among all other factors. The mentors of UWoMEN are basically men and women who were you to succeed in your cause.

Story of UWoMEN

UWoMEN was launched in 2014 by Monica who has broken past traditional barriers all by diversity and embracing collaboration. The network grew fast in five years and is now currently one of the most recognizable brands across Canada.

UWoMEN partners with venture capitalists, nonprofits, and even government agencies.

The reason and purpose behind creating the Women of Inspiration™ Awards were just to recognize a woman who helped her overcome the misfortune and life-changing Seven Journey in the justice system with 22 days of trial, 4800 hundred hours of litigation, and 56+ court appearances.

Monica’s personal story was so effective and resilient that it was the push that she needed to create Women of Inspiration™ to honor a woman.

The award itself is a symbol for the women across the globe to be more and do more. During her career, she interviewed hundreds of women and produced over 80+ events to help her brand expand globally and nationally.

When we talk about Monica, her vision was far greater than just creating a brand. Her main aim was to create a sustainable and inclusive network that will help recognize, elevate and inspire the characters of deserving women and the men who SupportHER™.

The objective was to work with organizations that were like-minded and globally committed to forging strategic partnerships with government agencies, gender equality, and critical stakeholders to advance women in business and economic development.

Events That UWoMEN Host

There were many events that were hosted by UWoMEN over the passage of time. Though the events that are yet to come are mostly virtual so it’s convenient to join and show you are part of the organization even by staying at home.

The events that happen are “Change Make Her” Networking and at the end of every year, there are women’s inspiration awards as well.

Similarity between UWoMEN and the Bao Laboratory

When we talk about similarities, the BAO Laboratory and UWoMEN have so much in common. The UWoMEN organization basically supports all the women that had the courage to step out against the odds, women like our leader and Julia Bao.

Furthermore the UWoMEN organization cheers for the women who work and want to achieve great heights. Yet 90% of the staff you will find at the BAO Laboratory will be female. 

The UWoMEN holds events and hosts women from all different backgrounds as they believe in gender equality and they omit racism and hatred at any level in the organization.

The BAO Laboratory hires women from all different backgrounds and ages while setting an example for all the other women out there who are willing to make a change for themselves and their lives.

The UWoMEN believes that it takes courage to show vulnerability and the BAO Laboratory truly understands the values that are presented by their partners.
