Chiron microcrystalline deep penetration eye mask. What are some special concerns when it comes to our eyes, and the skin around them? Why do we need to treat this area differently?

The skin around your eyes is thinner and more sensitive, and fine lines and wrinkles around your eyes are often the first signs of aging. We need to treat this area differently because some of the ingredients in the facial oil/serum, for example, retinoids, can appear in concentrations that are too harsh for the eye area.

What are some of the key ingredients in the serum oil (eye mask), and what is their efficacy/what are their benefits?

This eye mask can effectively deliver Hyaluronic Acid, Dipeptide-2, and Vitamin C to deeper skin layers. Hyaluronic Acid plays a crucial role in hydrating and lubricating and is one of the most powerful moisturizers to hydrate and soften while reducing the appearance of wrinkles. Vitamin C can reduce UV-induced photodamage while improving the overall appearance of aged and fragile skin. Dipeptide-2 adds moisture to the skin while assisting with skin renewal and replenishment.

How does the eye mask compare to actual microneedling? What improvements can we expect to see with use?

It is a safe, effective alternative to invasive procedures. Four weeks of clinical studies were conducted with 30 adult women aged 30-60. 100% agree dark circles and under-eye bags look noticeably reduced. 96% agree the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles is diminished.
